Jordan Bunch

MSW, LCSW

She/Her/Hers

Jordan Bunch, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina. She has worked with levels of care ranging from inpatient hospitalization to outpatient in a variety of settings, including a specialty eating disorder hospital, residential substance use treatment facility, primary care offices and private practice. She has specialized training in the treatment of eating disorders and substance use. She is working towards her credential in Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT).

Jordan, along with her furry co-therapist Reggie, strives to create a safe and collaborative environment in order to provide truly person-centered care. She sees each session as an opportunity for growth and insight as well as collaborative learning about what works and what doesn’t for individual clients. She understands that deciding to start therapy can be intimidating and often folks don’t know what to expect. As a therapist, she wants to make her clients feel comfortable, heard and valued from the initial consultation to the last treatment session. She has worked with a wide variety of human problems including: adjustment challenges, eating disorders, complicated grief, substance use, anxiety, depression, body image distress and interpersonal issues. She feels that each individual is worthy of the time, space and effort to find healing, peace and balance in their lives. Her approach draws from a variety of evidence based practices including DBT, ACT and CBT as well as psychodynamic theory and a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship. Each client has unique experiences therefore her goal is to accommodate each individual’s needs. She believes personally and professionally in the power of human resilience and aims to help each client navigate their world with greater ease.

Jordan completed her Master’s of Social Work and Substance Use Certificate program at UNC Chapel Hill’s School of Social Work in 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Africana Studies from North Carolina State University.
