GraceAnne Piner

GraceAnne Piner, MSW, LCSWA is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina, and is currently in the process of completing credentialing for Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT). GraceAnne works along side co-therapist, Frank. 

GraceAnne’s experience includes working with children, teens, and adults. Her specialties include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, emotional disregulation, self-harm, defiance, relationship difficulties, family difficulties, and family relational problems.

As a clinical social worker, GraceAnne’s main goal is to create a safe environment for individuals to feel heard, seen, and understood. She utilizes a person-centered and strengths-based approach and adapts to every client's individual needs. She has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness-based interventions.

Throughout her journey of becoming a therapist, GraceAnne has had the opportunity to engage with a wide range of populations. GraceAnne has experience with elderly and disabled adults, as well as with children and adolescents. GraceAnne has worked with levels of care ranging from inpatient hospitilizations, psychosocial rehabilitation day programs, as well as group therapy. 

GraceAnne completed her Master’s of Social Work from East Carolina University in May of 2022. GraceAnne also holds a Bachelor’s of Social Work, with a minor in Psychology from Meredith College.
