Hi! My name is Beasley. I am a Shih Tzu/Bichon Frise mix, also called a “Teacup Teddy Bear,” and yes, I really am a lot like a real life teddy bear!  Chad and my big brother, Miles, have been showing me the ropes on how to be the best therapy dog I can be.  I even get to wear a cool bow-tie to work, just like Miles.

I love to play hard and then nap just as hard.  I can find the most interesting places to nap, like Chad’s shoulders or tucked between pillows. I’m excellent at talking selfies, and I love to show off my charming underbite!  A lot of people say it’s their favorite feature that I have.

I am quite fluffy and when my fur is long, some people say I look like a Wookiee. When it’s short, people have compared me to an Ewok, dandelion, or Q-tip.  Either way, I’m a super lovable snuggle-bug!  I love to socialize and am developing great working relationships with all of my co-workers. If you made me choose a favorite, I’d have to go with Brownie and Brave, the therapy guinea pigs.

I get excited meeting people, and I love giving snuggles. I have a cheery disposition and get along very well with all types of people.  I tend to mimic a client’s energy, so if you are ready to play, so am I! If you need some calm-time, I’ll be happy to curl up right next to you! I’m still growing and learning, but I am eager to help clients feel at ease.  I think I’m a very good boy, and I’d love to meet you!

Chad and I are a certified therapy team by Canines For Therapy (via Canines For Service).
