We serve as a team of licensed mental health clinicians and social workers to provide mental health counseling services and mental wellness workshops for organizations.  Our clinicians operate within a wide range of specialties and serve a variety of populations.  Our main specialty is working alongside animals and incorporating them in therapy via animal-assisted interventions.  We follow the American Counseling Association’s Animal Assisted Counseling Competencies.  Animals, through the Human-Animal Bond, provide many psychological and even physiological benefits in therapy for the humans and the animal!

  • Does AATT train or evaluate therapy animals?

No-Our clinicians rely on professional trainers and organizations to help train our therapy animals.  If you are interested in having your animals trained, we suggest you look at the requirements with Pet Partners and Canines for Therapy https://caninesforservice.org/pet-therapy-request/
